I don't know about the rest of you, but April is one of the most stressful months of the year for me. In the next month, I have countless thing that I need to do to succeed in my life. Anywhere from school, to work, to play, my life is CRAZY. Here's just a few things on my mind.
School-
Besides the specific things about school that are causing stress, I just have lots going on. Tests all the time. Starting SAGE this Friday, trying to stay on track for the novel project, and dealing with teachers and students who are just done. Myself included. But, we only have 6 and a half weeks left, so, WOOHOO!
Choir-
Auditions are NEXT WEEK, and I'm freaking out. I finally picked my audition song, but I still need an accompanist to play with me. Plus, I have to learn all the things neccesarry for my audition. I haven't even signed up yet either. Oops. But hopefully after the meeting tomorrow, my anxiety will subside.
Work-
Today it finally occurred to me that I should probably get a job. I never realized how scary that would be. I have to actually go talk to someone?? Filling out a resume with no experience can be rough. But, maybe my cheerful disposition and attitude will land me a job in concessions. But I can't wait to actually be able to earn some money.
AP Psych-
ALERT! ALERT! I have my psychology test in LESS THAN A MONTH!! Holy crap this year went by fast! I have to try my hardest to study in the next few weeks and continue to do well in the class. In through the nose, out through the mouth.
I know it might seem like I tend to focus on the negative side of things. I really try not to. So, here are some great things happening in my life.
My Sister's Graduation-
After years and years of struggling with school, she finally did it! She's gonna graduate!! Words cannot express the relief and joy this has brought to my house. Good Job Erin!! I can't wait to see what you do with your amazing talents.
Birthday-
In a little more than 6 weeks, I will finally be 16!! I CAN'T WAIT! Just being able to drive is going to be the most liberating thing ever. I have to do some more driving hours and deal with driver's ed, but after that, I will finally be able to drive myself to Walmart at 11:30 pm to buy powdered sugar (a problem that has arisen more than once, believe it or not.) ALSO, come June 2nd, I will officially be on the market ;) hahahahaha....
End of School-
This one's kind of self explanatory...
Even though life can be really stressful, life is an amazing thing. If we just look for the little blessings in our everyday lives, we will find them. So until the stress subsides, dance it out, go for a walk, take a bubble bath, get some sleep, focus on what you can control, and smile. Because, there's always a reason to smile, you just have to find it. Until Next time, Allie.
